Stroke & Turn Clinic
Attend this training clinic to learn the role of Stroke and Turn official. Once you have attended the clinic you will apprentice under the guidance of a certified stroke and turn official. The stroke judge ensures compliance with the rules pertaining to the mechanics of the swim such as the arm stroke and kick. We need volunteers to help with the following: - handing out flyers (done between May 17-20) - bottle collection (May 27th in the morning) - sorting (May 27th - 9:00-1200 at Delta Manor). The Bottle Drive is a great way to start working down your fundraising fee. You will be given credit for each part of the bottle drive that you help with. Referees The referee has the overall authority and responsibility for seeing that the competition complies with all of the appropriate rules and regulations. The referee resolves all questions related to the conduct of the swim meet and reviews any disqualifications.
